Vision Statement

ICT is a fundamental part of our world today, with new technologies rapidly implemented in all areas of our lives. At Thriplow CofE (A) Primary School we recognise the importance of giving our children the confidence and skills in IT that they need to have in order to achieve the outcomes of Every Child Matters. We motivate, enhance and extend our children's learning through using ICT in all areas of the curriculum, as a tool to develop children working on Individual Programmes and also with children working in groups. We recognise the benefit of using ICT to support children with Special Learning Needs and that ICT enables all children to work at an appropriate, individual level.

We ensure continuity of progress in ICT by assessing our children's skills and understanding on a termly basis: in addition, the children evaluate for themselves which skills they have acquired and how confident they feel with applying these skills.
